Town of Agaete

The town of Agaete is located on the northwest coast of Gran Canaria.  Agaete is the departure point for ferries running to Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

The west coast of the island receives more rain than in the arid south.  This tropical zone is known for banana production and some its stunning scenery.
